The company's new skin care brand will debut on HSN May 14th.

Gurwitch Products has launched “nyakio,” a new skin care line formulated with ingredients indigenous to Africa. The line is available exclusively on HSN.com now, and will make its debut on air on May 14th. The brand’s founder and namesake is Nyakio Kamoche Grieco, is an American beauty entrepreneur of Kenyan descent who was inspired by her Kenyan family’s personal beauty secrets to create the line. “The launch of nyakio is the culmination of a dream to share my family’s beauty secrets through results-driven formulas that utilize the best natural African ingredients,” said Grieco. “I am excited to join HSN’s roster of beauty authorities and to bring the rich sophistication of Africa to life for women everywhere.” The product line features brown packaging, with translucent yellow caps and a red/blue/yellow striped design, as shown on the tube pictured. The product shown is Kenyan Coffee Polish, which contains Kenyan coffee, lemongrass and neroli oil. Claudia Poccia, president/CEO of Gurwitch Products, said, “”Like all of the beauty properties in the Gurwitch portfolio, nyakio is a founder-driven brand, with an authentic story and unique point of difference.” Poccia continued, “We look forward to partnering with HSN to bring Nyakio’s story directly to our target consumers, in a format that will allow them to develop a real connection with the brand and its founder.”
